Our history
Our pizza adventure began in 2002 in Kielce – a city that remains the heart of our operations to this day. We started modestly, as a local pizzeria with a clear mission: to serve pizza made exclusively from natural ingredients, on thin dough kneaded fresh daily on-site, without preservatives, improvers, or substitutes. From the very beginning, we wanted to create a place where people would return not only for the taste, but also for the atmosphere. Over time, we gained the trust of Kielce residents, and the good reputation and satisfaction of our customers motivated us to expand. We began opening more locations – first in the Świętokrzyskie province, then in other regions of Poland. We expanded our network through both our own locations and the franchise model, which allowed us to share our philosophy with partners across the country. Within a few years, we were present in Krakow, Sosnowiec, Tychy, Rzeszów, and Świętochłowice, among others. In 2007, we transformed into a joint-stock company, and just a year later – in February 2008 – we debuted on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. This step opened new opportunities for us and allowed us to think even more ambitiously about the future of the Maxipizza brand.
Who we are today
Today, Maxipizza is more than just a pizzeria. We are a brand that combines taste, quality, and a modern approach to running a restaurant business. Every day we serve thousands of pizzas in various Polish cities, ensuring that each one is fresh, aromatic, and prepared according to our standards. We still use the same recipes that gave birth to our history, while constantly developing and modernizing our offer. Our locations operate both stationary and for delivery – customers can order by phone, through our website, and mobile apps for Android and iOS. We are particularly proud of our flagship location in Kielce at ul. Zagnańska 94/26, which houses both our headquarters and a unique restaurant – Browar Korona by Maxi Pizza. This is a space where we combine our passion for pizza with craft brewing, offering our guests not only signature dishes, but also beer brewed on-site. Our network operates in a hybrid model – we run both our own locations and collaborate with franchisees, to whom we transfer knowledge, operational standards, and full support in running a business under the Maxipizza brand. This allows us to develop in a sustainable way, scaling our operations without losing quality and identity. We focus on development – not only through new locations, but also through innovations in customer service, delivery logistics, and marketing. We want to be close to our customers – both in cities where we already operate and where we are just planning to open new pizzerias.
Maxipizza on the stock exchange
Since 2008, we have been present on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. As a public company, we operate transparently and responsibly – we regularly publish financial reports, communicate with investors, and make strategic decisions in a balanced manner. We treat our stock exchange presence as a commitment – both to our shareholders and to customers, employees, and partners. Thanks to funds raised from the capital market, we can implement our expansion plans, invest in new locations, and develop our operational center in Kielce. At the end of the first quarter of 2024, we achieved revenues of over 785 thousand zloty, generating a net profit of 30 thousand zloty – which shows a clear improvement in profitability compared to previous periods. Our goal is to further strengthen this positive trend through cost optimization, franchise development, and increasing brand recognition. We employ a qualified team of specialists who coordinate administrative, operational, and marketing activities. We operate based on proven procedures and constantly strive to improve our business model – both in terms of location management and market communication. We believe that as a public company, we have a unique opportunity to combine tradition with modernity – maintaining high product quality while using tools that enable further development in the dynamic restaurant market environment.
